Matrix Sea Foods in order to provide unique products range for better quality and improve production of the farm culture has set up its own state-of-the-art R&D centre with qualified people and continuously strive to give the shrimp farmers better services, apart from unique products. Along with this from this our 4 mobile labs and 5 sitting labs in the state with a team of 30 scientific personales are working continuously in solving the problems of aqua farmers. Through our research the team Matrix is working to satisfy the needs of farmers in the country by guiding the farmers towards antibiotic free culture promoting high usage of probiotics.

Towards advancement Matrix has started a new research centre in the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus under the name of Matrix-ANU Advanced Aquaculture Centre (MAAARC) where we concentrate on burning problems of culture with a group of scientists and Professors form Department of Zoology and Aquaculture. Apart from research the centre also involved in conducting awareness programmes for farmers and students in advanced aquaculture management. The centre also provides training in various aspects of culture practices, international trading. The Centre is blessed with an advanced Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory for supporting farmers in analysis of water and soil and also for analysis of Penaeid viruses through PCR.

The main motto of our research is to kill the root cause of the disease simultaneously killing the disease.

  1. Developing need based minerals.
  2. Development of Diagnostic kits for shrimp and fish diseases
  3. Crop assistance programme (CAP) for onsite recognition of problems and working for solutions thereof through information technology and skilled technicians.
  4. Different air flow technology models for the better supply of dissolved oxygen under low power utilization.
  5. Development of Combi-packs for multiple problems.
